- Optical Drive:
Please make sure you have a Blu-ray optical
drive for Blu-ray titles or HD DVD drive for HD
DVD movies on your system. Both Blu-ray and HD DVD
drives are capable of playing your standard DVD
titles. However, DVD optical drives cannot play
back High-Definition movies.
- Display Device:
If you are using a DVI (Digital Visual Interface)
or HDMI (High-definition Multimedia Interface) connection
to a digital output, please make sure the your display
device is HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)
compatible and your VGA supports HDCP.
- Software Player:
Please make sure you are using a version of InterVideo
WinDVD 8 that supports Blu-ray or HD DVD playback.
